The introduction of a strategic management cockpit is another project example. The requirement is to develop, based on a Balance Score Card, a strategic control tool, with which to monitor the progress of strategic projects. The analysis and concept design is again the beginning of this tool development. Instruments already available on the market will be checked and, eventually, purchased and integrated. In one case, such a tool will be developed individually, and thus it will completely fulfill the customer wishes. The Interim Manager’s experience of many years in the IT field becomes an advantage, and therefore a prototype can quickly be built firstly. After the Proof of Concept has been tested over several weeks, software will be developed by a team of programmers.
