- Established German start-up company in Asia; their software product was able to measure the progress of a M&A. Target customers were Asian Semiconductor and Electronic Companies with recent M&A activities.
- Led global project for American Semiconductor company (Rev: 2.2 Billion USD , employees: 3.300) to establish a new quoting methodology. Impact: significant EBIT and Margin improvement; Project office was based in Singapore.
- For the 2nd largest European Semiconductor company (Rev.: 5.8 Billion Euro, employees ~ 35.000) is was heading the project office to stimulate global sales. Project was done in cooperation with external consultant McKinsey & Company. An additional revenue of 400 Mio Euro was created – mainly in Asia.
- For a major German Electronic company ( Rev.: 75 Billion Euro, employees ~ 348.000) I managed the procurement of ODM devices to bridge their production capacity deficit. Yearly procurement budget ~ 100 Mio $US. Sourcing was mainly done in Asia – Japan (Toshiba), Korea (LG Semicon), Taiwan (Vanguard) and Mainland China; this role included the set-up of the right Business Partners, price negotiations, contracting, define right product mix, organize supplier audits (e.g. in Shanghai/Pudong), quality assurance and supply chain topics.
